Our second bottling of Pinot Bianco (White Pinot) is a very limited production white wine.

This wine offers an attractive nose of just-ripe alpine strawberry and perfumy white nectarine. On the palate, it delivers a juicy and surprisingly powerful experience with layers of stonefruit, mixing both floral and fruit tones. The palate is succulent yet firm, leading to a refreshing and long finish.

Sourced from their estate vineyard on Calkins Lane, the 2024 ‘Famiglia’ was stored for 24 months in only 20% new French oak before bottling. It opens with red rose petals and potpourri notes alongside orange peel and shades of bergamot. The palate is lush and rich with a terrific mouthfeel and good sense of length, with bright underlying acidity. Fresh and viscous, enjoy over the next ten years. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2022 de Lancellotti ‘Famiglia’ Pinot Noir unveils a very pure core of red fruits alongside potpourri and mandarin orange rind notes on the nose. The palate is very seamless and soft with good weight and underlying astringency. Layers of pomegranate seed, red currants and volcanic stones combine with salty minerals on the palate. The 2022 vintage has benefited from extended bottle aging and is now in an excellent condition for immediate enjoyment or further cellaring.

The big and unabashedly bold warm vintage 2021 ‘Mio Figlio’ underwent whole cluster fermentation and then underwent Carbonic maceration for three days. Entirely Wadenswil clonal selection Pinot Noir, this offers a seamless, almost oily texture with plenty of weight and finesse. Bright red fruits parade with lemon rind, pine needles and suggestions of baking spice dusted wild mushroom on the palate. This is very vibrant Pinot Noir that has only started to hit its stride.

Named after Calkins Lane, the 2024 ‘La Corsia’ utilizes clone 667 from their estate vineyard. This saw a touch more new French oak (30%) and is rich and layered on the mouth, with a good acid backbone. Red rose water combines with orange peel and salty minerals on the palate. The combination of red fruit core and salinity really drives this outstanding wine. Drink 2026-2038.

The delicious 2022 ‘La Corsia’ is a tremendous warm vintage effort by famed winemaker Robert Brittan. Already very alluring with its red rose petal, dusty soils, ripe red currants and wild blackberry notes on the nose, this shows off a silky mouthfeel with plenty of bright acidity. Finishing long with copious minerals, this is a beautiful and generous new Pinot Noir that will easily cellar for another twelve plus years. Drink 2023-2035
